For Coaches
Applications are no longer being accepted for the 2009-2010 Hockey Season. If you are interested in becoming a Head Coach or an Assistant Coach for any of the Divisions, please download and complete the Coaching Application below and forward it via email to aparsons@mplaw.ca , or by fax at 695-3944, or deliver it in person in an enclosed, sealed envelope addressed to "PAB Minor Hockey Coaching Selection Committee", at Marks & Parsons Bldg, 3-9 Barhaven Drive.
Please Note: All applicants MUST include an updated certificate of conduct with their application- These can be obtained without cost from RCMP/Provincial Court by notifying them that it is for a volunteer position. Applicants MUST disclose all information requested. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from consideration for a position. Finally, head coaches shall be involved in appointing assistant coaching staff , with final decision being made in conjunction with PAB Minor Executive (Coaching Selection Committee)
NEW COACHES
ALL new coaches MUST complete the Speakout Program OR the Respect in Sport Online Program. Click the following link to be directed to the online course. I will take approximately 1.5 hours to complete the course. Once you complete the course you will have to print your certificate as proof of completion. There is a fee associated that you must pay upfront, however, Port aux Basques Minor hockey will reimburse this fee once you present your certificate to your director or association president. Without this course you will Not be permitted on the ice with any Division so it is imperative that you complete the course at your earliest convenience.
